Well, what I would be interested in: Are there any things you're really afraid of? YOu know, like spiders? For a special reason, or is it some kind of irrational fear?
I myself, I'm afraid of water for some reason. I don't have the slightest idea why, but that's the way it is ... so how about you?

Hi-
I used to be afraid of flying in an airplne, but I got over that fear as I traveled overseas by airplane twice round trip. I enjoyed my experience although now, I am very scared of water and swimming ( afraid that I will drown)-

Really? That's ridiculous, because it's really the same with me: My problem with water is, that I always have to imagine how it would feel to drown therein. I can't get rid of these thoughts, so I'm panicking always, when I see water. What is funny: When I went to America last year by airplane, it was no problem at all. For some reason I really feel safe in the air. I don't know why! Of course I didn't look down, when we flew over the ocean, otherwise I think I would have panicked though, but I never really thought "Oh my god, I'm right above the water" I just felt safe somehow! Weird, isn't it?

Here is my irrationnal fear : I'm afraid of being scared.
I hate to be scared. You know when your friends just want to laugh a bit and scares you with a horror movie and such. Well I'm the one screaming like hell and hitting blindly the pillow.
I can't stand to be scared.... consequently I celebrate Halloween softly at home with friends and lights on and I don't watch a single horror movie.

>I have this thing with broken glass. I hate it. Seeing someone cut themselves on glass, oouch! it's weird really, if I'm watching a film and I see someone getting cut by a knife, I don't freak. I mean, I don't enjoy it if that's what I think, but you know. When they get cut by glass on the other hand... Actually, i saw the Saw 2 film, and the one scene where some gal get her hands stuck in two glassboxes! Imagine the pain! Oh yeah, torture in itself, can't stand watching it (probably wouldn't have fancy being the one who got tortured either, but luckily that hasn't happened. Not like seriously horrible as in those films) And in the Saw films you see the most horrible torture methods. Not a big fan of those movies you might have guessed.
I actually have a fear of water too. Im not like afraid to take a shower or anything (even though i got super creeped out when i was little) but when the water is dark and i cant see the bottom, and im in it i get super freaked out. I dont know why its super weird.
