Some members are currently crumbling under their Penpal Tradition friends' letters. A few of them even abandoned the ship, not being able to face the increasing amount of messages and letters from our members anymore.
At a certain point in life, you just need to say "no" to new penpal requests. But this is not easy to say to a member who is writing a kind letter to us that we just don't have time for new penpals.
From now on, you won't have to deal with this dilemma any longer. When you reach your limit, and are no searching for new friends, simply go to your member area and then "My settings". On this page, check "inactive" your account and you are done.
As long as your account is disabled, members outside your Friend List won't be able to contact you on the site (they will be informed that you are not interested in making new friends at the moment). They also won't find your profile in the search engine.
