Do any of you care to share your opinion on global warming?

I think it's a serious problem and that the world isn't doing enough to stop it. It's a huge risk to switch to alternative fuels even though it's been proven to work. This is part of the reason i think the US hasn't attacked the issue enough. I took environmental science this past school year and have learned a lot about how the world works and how our actions affect everything. It's important for people to become educated in the subject. I've been doing my part by recycling my drinking containers, paper, and minimizing my waste.

Well i think if USA did follow most of the country for change environment is because that does not pay much .Why they did not change fuel car for another way Because petrol is a part of the world.Petrol=$$$$$$

If everyone will do something for the environment and force goverment to choose green way .They will have abetter world. In everything there is a good way and bad way but if we don't do anything in the futur for our kids the world will be worst.Tha t is my opinion.

Unregist.

Green ways bring not enough money into our governments pockets I guess. as long as they won't think of anything but money and won't consider changing their habits, nothing will really change.

By a few decades we will run out of petrol, people are not ready for that as they don't even think so far into the future. Like the resources of the earth were unlimited in their mind so they don't need to change their habits.

People says world will always progress and never regress. That's a fact people take for sure. But people will always have to take the train of change even if that means going backwards to old habits because they took all resources of the earth.

What will we do with cars not able to drive because of a lack of fuel ? We maybe won't have to use cars drawn by horses like they used to do centuries ago but we will need to face this problem and change our habits. We will not have other options ! Or people will go mad and start a useless war because they can't drive anymore.

Well, luckily car companies have started creating vehicles that use less fuel. Also, there are cars that are running on natural gas and hydrogen and some run on the sun. The technology is developing and more people are taking interest. Personally, I don't believe that wars will start due to the loss of oil. In fact, I think wars in the Middle East will end. If you think about it, all the tension between the Middle Eastern countries are because of two factors: religion and amount of oil. That's why the US is so involved in making sure there is peace in Iraq(not the only reason!), why OPEC was established. Once the oil is gone, those countries will have major economic problems but no new wars should start unless they are civil wars.
